Help with quitting

The service is for anyone in Somerset who would like help to stop smoking. Remember you’re up to four times more likely to stop with our help compared to willpower alone. Whether it’s your first or 15th attempt, we are here to help.

The service is run by a friendly tem of trained staff, who offer advice and support, taking you through a tried and tested programme. Our aim is to help you stop smoking and stay stopped. We provide flexible support to meet your needs including group or one to one sessions or telephone support. At your first visit, we will explain what the service can offer you and what options are available to help your stop smoking attempt. You will not be expected to quit smoking on this day. Nobody’s going to give you lectures or tell you over-the-top scare stories. You’ll just get practical help to stop smoking from people who understand what you are going through.

Sessions are run in local venues across Somerset at various times of the day, including some evenings.
